Fescue Lawn Care Program

We do what it takes to create and maintain a healthy and beautiful landscape.

Excellent customer service is our top priority with our professionally trained staff. During the year, we offer a seven application service for lawn, and a seven application tree and shrub program. It is never too early nor too late to surround your home with a beautiful landscape.

Round 1 Pre-emergent weed controls applied to prevent crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds. Fertilization to improve root development for winter and spring green up. Broadleaf weed control applied to any existing weeds.

Round 2 Pre-emergent and post-emergent weed controls applied to prevent crabgrass and other broadleaf weeds. Fertilization to improve green color during cooler months. Broadleaf weed control applied to any existing weeds.

Round 3 Special blended liquid controlled release fertilizer, iron and micronutrients applied to improve grass color and density. This will also help to keep your fescue lawn healthy into early summer, without building up excess nitrogen which can lead to Brown Patch Fungus. We also apply weed controls as necessary. June/July is the most difficult time of year to maintain fescue grass due to summer related stress. This is the time of year that additional fungicide applications might be necessary to combat Brown Patch Fungus.

Round 4 This application includes specially blended liquid fertilizer, iron and micronutrients applied to maintain grass color and density. Limestone helps to condition the soil and balance the soil pH level so that your turf will use our fertilizers more efficiently. We also apply weeds controls as needed. This treatment will help to prepare your fescue grass for the upcoming core aeration and over seeding season.

Round 5 September/October is the best time for Fescue Core Aeration & Seeding. Our application of balanced fertilizer, iron and micronutrients will aid in the germination of your recently seeded lawn, and it will help your established fescue grass to repair itself from damage caused by summer stress.

Rounds 6 & 7 The last 2 applications of the year consist of fertilizer which is high in phosphorous which will provide the nutrients needed by the developing new grass to mature over the winter months. Weed controls are used as needed on turf that is mature and healthy.
